John Cardinal O’Connor School To Hold “Lunch & Learn” for Prospective Families
Archdiocese of New York’s Director of Special Education to Share Insights on Picking the Right School for Children with Learning Disabilities, Speech and Health Impairments
(March 2015 – Irvington, NY) – Do you have a child who learns differently and needs specialized instruction?
Understanding how difficult picking the right environment and academic approach can be for families, John Cardinal O’Connor School (JCOS) is leading a discussion on finding the right school for children with learning disabilities and other health impairments.
The event, which is part of JCOS’s “Lunch & Learn” series, will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8 at WESTMED Medical Group’s offices at 3030 Westchester Avenue, 2nd Floor Conference Room. Eileen Murtha, Director of Special Education for the Archdiocese of New York, will lead the discussion and answer questions.
